Blue Buffalo’s Earth’s Essentials Apple Orchard Clusters

Friday! What’s up, friends? I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend and that you keep enjoying the summer weather as long as we have it!

Yesterday, I did a special thing.

I got a little t on my arm for my Little T. ♥

I’d been wanting to get it for a while now but have been feeling all squishy and sappy lately about Teton and how much I love him, so I figured, why not now? I wish I’d been at the tattoo shop for longer because it’s pretty fun to walk out with a big piece of art on your body, but I love my little t and every time I look at it I feel my heart smile.

Last month’s treat from Chewy.com was Blue Buffalo’s Earth’s Essentials Apple Orchard Clusters Cranberry Crunch Recipe.

Blue Buffalo has a good reputation and Teton has had a number of their treats in the past. Most of the treats we’ve tried from Blue Buffalo’s line are meat-based and Teton has loved them. These treats are made with just a handful of ingredients (none of which are meat) and as far as I’m concerned, they may as well be for humans.

Naturally, Teton was excited to give these a try when I opened the bag (he’s no dummy). I actually tried one first since they’re basically little pieces of granola.

They’re pretty good.

To me.

Teton, on the other hand, wouldn’t even entertain them. He sniffed them and then walked away. I tried a few times (on different days, even!) to get him to at least take one, but…nope!

My sister’s puppy, Basil, took one for the team. Well, ok, he took the whole bag for the team. Because he’s the only dog out of all the dogs in my family who would eat these.

Kind of a bummer since the ingredient list is so legit! Oh, well. You can’t win ’em all.

Good boy, Basil.

I recommend Blue Buffalo’s Earth’s Essentials Apple Orchard Clusters Cranberry Crunch RecipeBlue Buffalo’s Earth’s Essentials Apple Orchard Clusters Cranberry Crunch Recipe if you have a dog that loves fruit and crunchy treats. If you’re not sure, opt for a treat that’s nice and meaty. 😉

Happy tails…
