A Taste of Mr. Chewy

Is it just me, or do you think of this when you hear the word “chewy”?

Well, there’s another Chewy in town.  Mr. Chewy!

A few weeks ago, the folks at Mr. Chewy contacted me with an offer to allow me try out their services at no charge in exchange for an honest review.  Before accepting, I perused their site to see if it was something I was interested in.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Mr. Chewy carries many of the products that I already purchase and a handful more that I’ve been wanting to try.

Not too shabby there, Mr. Chewy!

Navigating Mr. Chewy’s site was easy.  The hardest part was picking what product I wanted!  I started in the Dog Treats section of the site and filtered by brand because I was eager to buy a few of those items that I had been itchin’ to try.  In addition to filtering by brand, you can filter by lifestage (senior, puppy, etc.) and specialty (gluten free, vegetarian, etc.).  Once you select a filter, you can sort your returned search items by a handful of criteria including price and newest to the site.

In addition to dog treats, Mr. Chewy carries a wide assortment of dog food, potty pads, flea/tick medication, and cat food, treats, and litter.  Mr. Chewy pricing is also competitive.  For example, Natural Balance Healthy Bones are $3.99 at Mr. Chewy and we’ve paid close to $5 elsewhere.

Shipping is free if you spend $49 or more, which, if you are stocking up for a month or two, is easy to do.

Mr. Chewy is located in Florida and since we live in Washington State I was a little worried that it would take forever to get our goodies, but in a short 5 days this was on our doorstep!

What did we snag from Mr. Chewy?

2 bags of Fromm’s Cranberry Liver Recipe treats

2 bags of Evo Wild Cravings Weight Management treats

1 case (12 cans) of Wellness Venison and Salmon Stew wet food

1 Merrick Doggie Wishbone Tendon

All for $49.94!

We’re stoked to try out these new treats and canned food from Mr. Chewy and even more stoked to have Her Dog Blog’s very first giveaway next week with that extra bag of Evo Wild Cravings treats.  😀

Mr. Chewy has a rock solid assortment with great prices, excellent customer service, and fast (and free if you spend $49 or more!) shipping.  My experience with Mr. Chewy was great, so if you’re the market for a new online food and treat source, head over to their site and check ’em out.

  1. I have considered buying bully sticks, tendons, and other special treats online since they are SO expensive at my store. I really like supporting my neighborhood economy, but for these I might make an exception. Looks like Mr. Chewy has pretty good prices.
Plus I don’t have to change out of my housecoat to get them 🙂
Plus I like the name of the company.

    Thanks for the tip!

  2. Very cool! I just discovered a fun service the other day (no affiliation whatsoever!) called BarkBox. I think you’d really like it—it’s a monthly delivery of fun goodies, treats, etc. for your pup. It seems really affordable too. I’m definitely signing up 🙂

  3. We just discovered Mr. Chewy, too! I ordered the Stella & Chewy’s Surf ‘N Turf freeze-dried raw food for my two fur babies. No problems at all with the service and received it – nicely packaged – in, I think, 2 days! 🙂

  4. BTW, nice blog in general! I’m hoping it gets me motivated to do my own, which I’ve been dragging my feet on for a while now. Thanks for the info and fun entertainment. 🙂
