When your power goes out and stays out for five days straight, you should waste your phone battery by taking photos.

That way you’ll live on the edge and have memories.

We may look like wimps here in Washington, but this amount of snow is unheard of for us.

Luckily, it’s nothing a sexaaay pair of pajama pants and rain boots can’t handle.

And then the power went out.

Friends, this is called a fire hazard.

Teton was tired of not having power taking photos with me.

Minnie (my parent’s cat) was tired of not having power having her photo taken.

My house was a balmy 43 degrees and my parents, who were also out of power, got their main living area up to a kick ass temp of 69.  So, you can guess where Teton and I spent most of our time.

I never thought I’d be so excited to do laundry.
